Corbin Glass Doorknob Set
Glass doorknob set made by Corbin. 12 point variety. Cir. 1932. Steel bases with a nice brass finish. The knobs measure 2″ in diameter. The doorknob set comes complete with a threaded adjustable shaft that should work for most doors.

Corbin
P&F Corbin was founded by brothers Philip and Frank Corbin in New Britain, CT. in 1851. Interestingly, Philip previously worked for the company that would become Russell and Erwin, which Corbin would merge with in 1902. It ran with a number of subsidiary companies in the 1900’s including Corbin Cabinet Lock Co., Corbin Screw Company and even a Corbin Motor Vehicle Corporation! Corbin is still in business today under ownership of Assa Abloy under the name Corbin Russwin.
