Sewing or Piano Lock

Furniture lock typical of a sewing machine cabinet or piano. It has no markings. The catalogue page shown in the photos is a similar type of lock, but a different style. This lock is meant to be  inset into the wood and takes a square key from the outside.  The square is approximately 3mm. on the inside. The latch is hook shaped and moves both up and over. It comes complete with a not pretty, but functional square key.

The lock box part measures 1 7/8 “l x 1 1/4″h x 1/4” thick. The top plate is steel with some remnants of brass finish. It measures 2 3/4″l x 3/8″w. The latch measures 1/2″l at the top hooked part.

We clean, oil and test all of our locks to make sure that they are fully functional.
