Handle 251

Unique cast handle with a plain rectangular plate and an attached drop bail. Oiled brass. It is shaped almost like a simple door knocker. It probably dates to the 1960’s or 70’s. The backplate measures 3 3/4″h x 1 3/4″w. It is made to mount upright with the bail lifting up. The handle has a 2 1/2″ center to center distance for mounting screws. It is marked on the back of the bail and plate W944, Pat. 3248758.
