Window Hardware

Window hardware includes sash lifts, curtain tiebacks, curtain rods and finials, latches and more. Sometimes items such as sash lifts could be used for more than one purpose. These were often also used as cabinet handles or pocket door holds.

This hardware came in a variety of materials, finishes and styles. Highly decorative examples date from the 1800’s-early 1900s. Materials could include steel, brass, bronze, or cast iron. Sometimes latches would even mix materials with part made in cast iron and part in brass or bronze.

Our latches are tested for functionality. All of our window hardware has been meticulously cleaned but the original patina has been preserved as much as possible.
