began in Brooklyn NY. around 1910. The founder was Jacob Chesler. Originally producing glass and mirrors, by the 1930s they expanded to include builders hardware. It seems in the late 1930s or 40s they went back to their glass and mirror roots, continuing as Chesler Glass Co. until about 1979.
