Sager Lock Works, originally known as the “Nimick & Brittan Manufacturing Company,” was a hardware manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois, that later became part of the Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company, with the “Sager Lock” brand signifying their line of locks; the company’s name changed to Sager Lock Company in 1913 after a change in ownership, and eventually became known as “Sager Lock Works” under Yale & Towne ownership.
