Barrows Newport Door Plate Brass

Wrought brass door plate made by Barrows, cir. 1939. Newport design. It featured rounded corners and a layered border. The door plate measures 7″h x 2 3/8″w. It has a fairly even patina.

Barrows Lock Works began in 1880 in Lockport, Ill. It is purchased by Yale & Towne in 1925, but they continue to produce under the barrows name until 1953.
