Canon City Templar Belt

Antique Templar Fraternal Order belt with decorative buckle and sword chains. The belt is made of tooled leather with a gold fabric strip down the center. The buckle is oval and made of cast brass. It has a red enamel cross in the middle with “Canon City Commander” along the top and “KT, Canon City Colorado” along the bottom.  The back is marked The Pettibone Bro. Mfg. Co. Cin’ti, O. The sword chains are attached to decorative buckles in the shape of a knight, 4 in total. They are marked on the back The Pettibone Bro. Mfg. Co. Cin’ti, O.  also. There is also an additional decorative buckle to secure the belt. The chains are also highly decorative. In full, the belt measures 42″ long total with the buckle with the belt portion measuring 41″.

The leather is cracked from age, but intact. It has been conditioned to keep it soft.
