Corbin Latch Lock Box
Mortise communicating door lock box with a double deadbolt latch. Made by Corbin. The lock box comes with two small turn latches (one for each side of the door). The lock box has a brass front plate which is chrome or nickel plated. The turn latches are also chrome/nickel. One turn latch has a slightly larger backplate.
The lock box measures 3 3/4″h x 3 1/4″l x 5/8″d. The front plate measures 5 1/2″h x 7/8″w. The latch is reversible. There is plating loss on the actual latch part due to use.
We clean, oil and test all of our lock boxes to make sure that they are fully functional. If needed, we may be able to match a skeleton key. We also may be able to match a strike plate if needed. Please let us know if you need any additional parts. It is best if we can match parts up while we have it in hand so that we can make sure everything works together properly.
This Corbin Latch Lock Box is an antique item and may show wear due to age. This may include scratches, pitting, patina, finish loss, rust or other general wear. We attempt to include any significant damage beyond regular wear within the description. We make every effort to clean as much paint, dirt and rust off of items while still leaving as much of the original patina as possible. Photos shown are of actual item you will receive.
This item is shippable.

Corbin
P&F Corbin was founded by brothers Philip and Frank Corbin in New Britain, CT. in 1851. Interestingly, Philip previously worked for the company that would become Russell and Erwin, which Corbin would merge with in 1902. It ran with a number of subsidiary companies in the 1900’s including Corbin Cabinet Lock Co., Corbin Screw Company and even a Corbin Motor Vehicle Corporation! Corbin is still in business today under ownership of Assa Abloy under the name Corbin Russwin.
