Pexto Roanoke Doorknob Set
Semi-decorative doorknob set made of steel with remnants of a brass finish. Made by Pexto. Cir. 1923. The doorknobs feature a concentric design with 4 points along the inner circles. The doorknobs measure 2 1/4″ diam. It comes complete with an adjustable shaft that can fit door thicknesses between 1 1/4″- 2 5/16″ (measured without door plates). If you need a different size shaft, let us know. We may be able to trade out.

Pexto (Peck, Stow & Wilcox)
The Peck Stow & Wilcox Hardware company began as a merger in 1870 of 3 companies: Peck, Smith Manufacturing, The S. Stow Manufacturing Company and the Roys & Wilcox Company. Its home base was Connecticut. Over the years, the company expanded and acquired other companies, branching out to multiple locations. Machinery and tools were their main focus, but they also produced a variety of home hardware. The company went bankrupt in 2003.
