Reading Windsor Rosette
Cast bronze rosette made by Reading. One variation of the Windsor pattern. This rosette is shown with a Windsor doorknob in the 1885 catalogue. It features a flower with stems on either side. The rosette has 2 attachment holes. It measures 2″ in diam. It appears to have a modern gold finish applied to it.
Note*- Antique rosettes will not cover a modern 2 1/4″ hardware hole.

Reading
Reading Hardware began in 1872 in Reading, Pennsylvania. It produced both basic and highly decorative builders hardware. Reading’s hardware was used in many notable buildings including the White House in Washington, D.C. The operation closed in 1950.
