Handle 49

Large brass bail style handle with etched decoration on back plate. The decoration resembles a flower and leaves. The handle was made by Keeler Brass Company. Cir. 1994. It is marked on the back 1994 KBC (Keeler Brass Co.), N 12756. The bail is also marked KBC N 10464. The handle measures 5 3/4″l x 2 1/2″h. It has a 4 1/4″ center to center distance for the mounting screws.

Keeler Brass Co.

Keeler Brass Company began in 1873 under the management of 3 brothers. It produced mainly furniture hardware, but also developed a few brass parts for the Model T vehicle. In 1921, they expanded to producing wood screws as well as hardware. They still produce American made furniture hardware today.
