These handles have a 5 1/2″ center to center attachment measurement. This means that the holes for attachment screws, when measured from the center of one hole to the center of the second hole are 5 1/2″ apart. Be sure to measure from the middle of the two holes when measuring existing holes or a handle that you are trying to match for optimum accuracy.
5 1/2″ center to center handles are quite oversized and fairly unusual. These would have been used on furniture pieces, perhaps in the 1970’s when large, chunky hardware was popular.
