Barrows Geneva Door Plate
Cast iron door plate made by Barrows, cir. 1920. Geneva design. It has remnants of a coppery finish. Renaissance and Greek inspirations to design. The door plate measures 8 1/4″h x 2″w.
The plates have some pitting on the face from previous rust.

Barrows
Barrows Lock Works began in 1880 in Lockport, Ill. It is purchased by Yale & Towne in 1925, but they continue to produce under the barrows name until 1953.
