Bronze Monogrammed B Doorknob

Heavy antique cast bronze doorknob with a nice script B monogrammed on the face. It has a concentric design with a stippled background, similar to Russell and Erwin’s Copely design. Often fancy hotels or very rich people would have custom monogrammed doorknobs. I cannot find this particular model anywhere, so it may have been an individual or smaller hotel. This originally was probably an exterior knob, as it has the safety pin feature. It does fit on a standard sized unthreaded shaft. The doorknob measures 2 1/4″diam and has nice patina. It has a few very minor dings and scratches, but is in overall very good condition.
