Brown Bakelite Doorknob Set

Dark brown with some light brown speckling round art deco style doorknob set made of Bakelite. Possibly made by Dexter Lifetime Locks. Cir. 1930s. Simple design with one circle and a slightly convex face. The doorknobs measure 2″diam.  They come complete with an adjustable shaft that fits doors between 1 7/8″- 2 3/8″ thick measured without door plates. If you need a different sized shaft, please let us know. We may be able to swap out for a different size.

Bakelite was an early form of plastic.
