Corbin Skeleton Key No Number

Skeleton key made by Corbin for use with doors. Marked Corbin  on the top on one side. The key measures 3 1/8″l with a 3/4″l pin (insert).  It has a groove running along the bit on the right side near the top. Notches on both sides  near the middle and a notch at the bottom center of the bit. The bit is  17.9mm long from the top of the pin.

Some rust residue, but this should not affect functionality.

This item is shippable.

Corbin

P&F Corbin was founded by brothers Philip and Frank Corbin in New Britain, CT. in 1851. Interestingly, Philip previously worked for the company that would become Russell and Erwin, which Corbin would merge with in 1902. It ran with a number of subsidiary companies in the 1900’s including Corbin Cabinet Lock Co., Corbin Screw Company and even a Corbin Motor Vehicle Corporation! Corbin is still in business today under ownership of Assa Abloy under the name Corbin Russwin.
