Ionian Door Plate Brass

Door Face Plate. Made of wrought brass. “Ionian” design as seen in the 1917 W.M. Frankfurth catalogue. The maker information is not given in the catalogue. Cir. 1917. The door plate measures 7 1/2″h x 2 5/8″w. It features a typical design for the time with a border and slight shaping to the inner area. A number of different manufacturers made a similar design.

Nice fairly even patina over surface.
