Flat type furniture key by National Lock Co. Marked Nat’l Lock Co. Rockford  along one side of the key. Above is the number 1. This type of key appears in catalogues for use on roll top desks, drawers and chests, but was potentially used on other types of furniture. The key measures 1 7/8″l with a 1 1/8″l pin, or insert area. The bit has 3 varying notches at the end with a pointed tip..
