Octagonal Brass Rosette

Stamped brass doorknob rosette with and octagonal shape. This was likely matched with an octagonal doorknob. Many companies made versions of this shape in the 1910’s-20’s. The rosette measures 2 1/8″w flat side to flat side. It has 2 holes for mounting screws.

Somewhat variable patina.

Note- Antique rosettes are not large enough to cover a modern hole. If you have a modern style hole in your door, consider a full sized door plate to cover.
