Oval Door Plate with Latch

Oval wrought brass door plate with a thumbturn latch instead of a keyhole. The door plate measures 7 “h x 2 1/4″w. The turn latch has a square shaft that measures 3/16″ square. It extends 1 3/4″ measured from the back of the plate.  The gap between the doorknob hole and the latch hole is unusually small with the doorknob hole hitting around the center of the plate. The distance center to center between the doorknob hole and latch is 2”.  The door plate has a patina over most of the surface. There are some scratches on the top of the doorknob cup.

There is a small crack  in the brass of the cup where the doorknob sits. This should not affect the functionality.
