Penn Douglass Door Set
Matched set of two door plates and doorknobs. Made by Penn. Douglass design. Cir. 1927. Made of wrought steel with a flashed copper finish. The door plates have rounded shaping and soft rounded corners, almost Art Nouveau in its movement. The door plates measure 7 1/2″h x 2 1/2″w. The doorknobs come complete with an adjustable standard square shaft. They feature a simple concentric design with a convex center. Each doorknob measures 2 1/4″ diam. With the plates, the knobs will fit doors between 1 1/2-2 1/2″ thick. If a different sized shaft is needed, please let us know. We may be able to swap out.
Some small rust spots throughout, but the finish is mostly intact.
This Penn Douglass Door Set is an antique item and may show wear due to age. This may include scratches, pitting, patina, finish loss, rust or other general wear. We attempt to include any significant damage beyond regular wear within the description. We make every effort to clean as much paint, dirt and rust off of items while still leaving as much of the original patina as possible. Photos shown are of actual item you will receive. If multiples are ordered, we will send a photo of additional plates for approval.
