Reading Wood Doorknob
Wood doorknob in a drum shape with three incised lines along the edge. Dark stained, probably oak. The wood options of the time were apple, ash, cherry and oak. This doorknob came connected to a Columbian design doorknob, which dates it to between 1896-1911 when the Columbian design was being manufactured. The doorknob measures 2 1/4″ in diameter. It has a bronze capped shank.
