Sargent Windsor Sash Lift
Antique semi-decorative wrought brass flush sash lift with nickel plate made by Sargent. Cir. 1926. It features rounded corners and a wide double border. The sash lift measures 3 3/4″l x 1 1/2″w. The cutout area measures 2″l x 3/4″w. It has two screwholes, one on each end of the cup part for attachment.

Sargent
Sargent Manufacturing began in 1857 in New Britain, Ct. The founders were brothers Joseph, George and Edward Sargent. In 1864 they moved to New Haven, CT. They were a distributor for the Mallory Wheeler Company up until about 1882. Sargent Lock continues today under the ownership of Assa Abloy.
