Sargent Wislow Sash Lift Brass Finish
Antique semi-decorative wrought steel flush sash lift with brass finish made by Sargent. Cir. 1926. It features rounded corners and a wide double border. The sash lift measures 3 3/4″l x 1 1/2″w. The cutout area measures 2″l x 3/4″w. It has two screw holes, one on each end of the cup part for attachment. These are NOS and have never been installed. They do however have small areas of rust/finish loss due to age. They come complete with original mounting screws.

Sargent
Sargent Manufacturing began in 1857 in New Britain, Ct. The founders were brothers Joseph, George and Edward Sargent. In 1864 they moved to New Haven, CT. They were a distributor for the Mallory Wheeler Company up until about 1882. Sargent Lock continues today under the ownership of Assa Abloy.
