Corbin Piccadilly Doorknob Set
Decorative cast iron doorknob set by Corbin. Picadilly design. Coppery plating. Cir. 1905. It features a floral burst in the center with wavelike designs around the rim. The doorknob measures 2 1/4″diam.
The doorknob shaft is adjustable between 1 1/2″-2 1/2″ (measured without door plates). If a different length of shaft is needed, please let us know. We may be able to swap out.

Corbin
P&F Corbin was founded by brothers Philip and Frank Corbin in New Britain, CT. in 1851. Interestingly, Philip previously worked for the company that would become Russell and Erwin, which Corbin would merge with in 1902. It ran with a number of subsidiary companies in the 1900’s including Corbin Cabinet Lock Co., Corbin Screw Company and even a Corbin Motor Vehicle Corporation! Corbin is still in business today under ownership of Assa Abloy under the name Corbin Russwin.
