Handle 234

3 part bail handle made by Keeler Brass Company. Two simple rosettes made of steel with a brass finish and a brass bail with a bamboo design. Mid century/Asian style. The handle measures 6 3/4″l x 2″h when it is all together. It has a 5 1/2″ center to center spacing for mounting screws. The rosettes are unmarked. The bail is marked KBC (Keeler Brass Co.) 1, N 2979.

Keeler Brass Co.

Keeler Brass Company began in 1873 under the management of 3 brothers. It produced mainly furniture hardware, but also developed a few brass parts for the Model T vehicle. In 1921, they expanded to producing wood screws as well as hardware. They still produce American made furniture hardware today.
