Single doorknob and plate by Reading in “Creston” design. Made of wrought bronze. The doorknob measures 2 1/4″ in diameter. The plate measures 5 3/4″l x 2″w. Nice finish and patina.

Reading

Reading Hardware began in 1872 in Reading, Pennsylvania. It produced both basic and highly decorative builders hardware. Reading’s hardware was used in many notable buildings including the White House in Washington, D.C. The operation closed in 1950.
